Simple Pleasures

Collections — big or small. I don't have a lot of space in my place, so I don't actively collect anything besides books, but I did inherit a charmingly haphazard collection of china teacups that belonged to my great grandmother. How about you guys? Do you collect anything?

Are you kidding? Is there a chance in heck that your readers are not voracious collectors? Me? Jello recipe books, old tin doll houses, trade cards, children's readers, nancy drew books, postcards, mid century pottery... Thank goodness I have a store so I can unload some of it.

Hiya, I found you via Caroline at Patchwork Harmony! I am loving your blog!

I collect books too, and also crockery. I am attempting to build a tea set for 8 people, but with each piece from a different pattern. They still have to match in colours though!

um... yeah. if i have two of something, my soul will be in a state of unrest until i have a third.

if i have three of something, i must have THEM ALL.

it might be a mild case of OCD :)

I collect postcards - I must have over a thousand now!

What I would love to collect would be plates of different designs and sizes to replace a uniform dinner set. It would definitely brighten things up for me!

Have a super Tuesday,

All things white. From vases to lacquer boxes to Jonathan Adler ceramics, it's seriously an addiction. The mantel above my fireplace is dedicated to it!

I just came across your blog - it's wonderful!
I have numerous small collections that are steadily growing - among them are vintage postcards and found photographs, dutch tea saucers, cloth bound books, and letterpress hang tags.
