The elegant Paris home of stylist Marcel Marongiu shows the influence of his childhood surroundings — his father is French, his mother Swedish — with its mix of beautiful 18th and 19th century furniture and chalk white walls. And though the pieces may be traditional, their casual arrangement within the apartment is completely modern — as are such additions as the simple, beautifully billowing curtains and the lovely Indian cabinets and doors. All these elements add up to welcoming and serene space that has a relaxed heart under its beautiful exterior.

Hello Lori,
I'm loving all of these pictures...and I'm really liking that window treatment...soft, kind of messy looking drapes of fabric...love it!

BeautifulZ! I love how the curtains are hung with such luxurious loucheness!
that first space looks divine!
my fav part is how the curtain is hung, and how it flows excessively. it just adds so much luxury and volume to it!
