This beautiful loft in Philadelphia was originally a window factory, built in the early 1900's. The current owners, Frank and Ditta Hoeber, envisioned the space as a background for their books, art and vintage furniture. Sensitively renovated by Qb3 Design, it's a very comfortable and liveable space, with plenty of texture and colour provided by the relaxed display of the Hoeber's various collections against the white background. By day (or, depending on the deadline, by night) I'm a Canadian collage illustrator. Since 2006, the automatism blog is where I share whatever I find inspiring, interesting, or simply beautiful in interiors, design, art, illustration and other creative fields.
