Something fun for you today — some examples of beautiful early 19th century fashion plates, drawn from The Myrtle Tyrrell Kirby Fashion Plate Collection. The plates are now at the Denison Library, which received them as a donation in 1948 from Benjamin Kirby, who named the collection for his first wife, Myrtle Tyrrell Kirby. More images (and more detailed info) can be found on the Claremont Libraries Digital Collections, too. Via Bibliodyssey.
