Happy weekend! Hope it's a beautiful one. We'll probably be doing a bit of holiday organizing this weekend, but there'll definitely be some loafing in there, too. How about you?

Well, since you asked...I'll use the expected snow storm as excuse to stave off shopping/errands. (Even though I walk or take subway.) Monday will be busy:)
So I will: 1) write Christmas & Hanukkah cards that I've had for 3 months & some are for overseas; 2) finally get the fairy lights working & finish festooning the tree so that Julie the Cat can knock it down (much more satisfying--for her--when fully decorated; 3) clean; 4) watch Upstairs, Downstairs DVDs (via Netflix Fairy); 5) pack goodies box for my brother in Afghanistan; 6) finish burning music CDs for the 2009 version of Susan's Cheesy Holiday Mix. That's late in being mailed out too, to 15 poor souls.
Goodness knows what else. BUT, I will drag self out to buy flowers. All I have are greens & one already-blooming amaryllis & pink poinsettia branches in some old bottles. Those are beginning to droop. Off to scavenge for marked down, floopy poinsettias & shear those off for vases.
Oh, & I'm going to decide on my January BPS postcard. Otherwise, I'll forget.
