It snowed where we live today. It never does. It was so exciting for the 30 minutes that it lasted. Nothing stuck but it was so much fun to see it fall.
What a 'magical' picture. I love nothing better than to wake up in the morning to glimpse that first snowfall....I am still waiting for it this year. Regards, Patricia
By day (or, depending on the deadline, by night) I'm a Canadian collage illustrator. Since 2006, the automatism blog is where I share whatever I find inspiring, interesting, or simply beautiful in interiors, design, art, illustration and other creative fields.

Hi Lori,
Thanks for the link love... it looks like this snow fall will stay, we definitely had it good up to now. My snowshoes are calling me!
I love the first light dusting, before it becomes a black encrusted mess on the streets and sidewalks.

I'm in love with this photo. I agree with Patricia, there isn't anything more magical than waking up to a blanket of snow. Stay warm.
You are so lucky! I wish it snowed here every once in a while
LOVE! We just had (are having) our first big snow. It's so beautiful!
The first snowfall is always so magical and exciting, we are due to get our first sprinkling this week.
This is such a sweet photo:)
