This home really shows that having a taste for modernism doesn't mean you have to be stuffy about it. Besides the confident mix of high end classics and affordable Ikea pieces, there's a lovely playfulness in the choice of art and brightly coloured accessories that I find truly inspiring. I love the room that uses the bookcase as a way of separating spaces - beautiful and functional, all rolled into one.
I love that first picture!
I also agree with Ashley L. and wide open spaces, the first is my favorite. It proves that it doesn't take much to make a statement.
"Playful modern" - what a great way to describe this style! I would move right in (if there is room for my grandmas dresser...)
