France Ruffenach

Lovely Emma of emmas designblogg tagged me yesterday (thanks, Emma — I'll post with my answers soon!), and while I was over on her blog finding out what it was all about, I saw her post about French-born, San Francisco-based photographer France Ruffenach and was instantly smitten. France's work has appeared in loads of national magazines and dozens of published books, and she's also been nominated twice for the James Beard Awards — her book The Country Cooking of France, a collection of over 300 of her photographs of her native country and its regional foods, earned her a Best Photography accolade in 2008. I immediately dashed over to see France's website, where I found more work so amazingly beautiful that I just had to share a little of it with you here. Enjoy.
