Pinkerton Design is the studio of Penny Richards Eversole, a Seattle-based graphic designer who includes among her inspirations " ... her grandma’s quilts, her parents’ old cookbooks, signage from the 50’s, Ed Emberley’s drawing books, and Seattle’s strange and beautiful plants." Her lovely greeting cards and tote bags are not only charming, but eco-friendly as well -- the cards are made of recycled paper printed with vegetable and soy-based inks, while the bags are made from a recycled fabric composed of 80% recycled cotton and 20% recycled plastic bottles. Have a look at more of her wonderful work here.

thanks for the coverage on our tote bags! I work for Pinkerton (and that happens to be my arm in the tote bag photos) and I was soo happy to see that one of my favorite blogs wrote about Pinkerton! Thank you!
