I discovered the brilliant work of Amsterdam-based photographer Alexander van Berge on a recent browse through the lovely Purple Area blog, and thought it would be perfect for a little Monday morning inspiration. I've picked interior images with paler tones here, but there's lots of other subject matter -- with rich colours and textures -- to be found in his work, too.

Ordinarily I'm really big on color, but I'm finding the whites rather soothing. Particularly the bottom photo. I think it's all the texture.
